Sure, you're just trying to get us to give up the really big secret that only um..uh...er..ah knows. Loose lips sink ships buddy. I'm not going to be the one.

On the other hand here's my setup. 1/8" stereo plug adapter to left and right RCA male plugs> Marantz Quad Receiver> Philips CD Player/Burner. It's my streaming machine and records in real time.

I've monkeyed around with stream capture software and some of it's good, but not enough to buy it. By now I'm sure there's some shareware out there and there's usually some kind of rating system. Google "stream capture" and I'm sure something will come up.

Ah geez, you figured me out, I'm um..uh...er..ah.

Kidding of course and have no intention of breaking LMA house rules.

For Windows XP you can use Windows Media Encoder from MS; I haven't tried it with Vista yet.
